On November 16 at a meeting of the International Federation of Accountants (IFAC) in Berlin, Germany, the professional organization of accountants Chamber of Professional Accountants of the Republic of Kazakhstan became an associate member of the International Federation of Accountants.
This well-deserved success of the largest professional accountancy body in Kazakhstan indicates the tremendous work done in recent years. The application process of the Chamber of Professional Accountants of the Republic of Kazakhstan took almost six years, as well as continuous work done for compliance with IFAC requirements.
The Chamber implemented a corporate management system, has independent directors, has been accredited by the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan as a professional organization, has created its own training center, and participates in the development and improvement of International Financial Reporting Standards and accounting profession.
